Adult length swimming session
Swim Without The Splash
A relaxing swim session for ages 50+
Parent And Toddler
Play and learn with toys for parents, babies and toddlers under 5. (Primary school age siblings are welcome)
Inclusive Swim
Is a session for children and adults with a disability or autism who are looking to access the pool at a quieter time for a more relaxed swim. A Parent/carer must be in the water for support/supervision. Please contact the Sports Centre in advance to book your space and confirm parent/carer ratio.
Fitness @ 15
Is an opportunity for 15-year-olds to experience the fitness suite session, under the supervision of a qualified instructor it also includes a swim & sauna session. These sessions promote a health active lifestyle. (Spaces are limited so booking is essential).
Splish Splash @ 4
An interactive swimming lesson style session followed by play with fun floats. A swimming teacher will always be in the water. (Pre-lesson introduction 5-year-olds who have not been on swimming lessons are welcome booking is essential)
Fun Session
Children must be aged 8-14 years to attend the fun session. Children aged 4-7 will be admitted if accompanied by an adult. Maximum numbers apply. This is a first come first serve session.
Summer Swim Club
Swim programmes designed and delivered by our swimming teachers to improve swimming strength and endurance. Must be able to swim 2 lengths and tread water 8 – 14 years. (Booking is essential)
Junior Aquacise
Movement to music using the natural resistance of the water and props for age 8-16 years. (Booking is essential)
Water Games
Various water-based games 8 – 12 years. (Booking is essential)
Flipper Session
8 – 12 years must be able to swim 2 lengths and tread water. (Booking is essential)
Rookie Lifeguard
The RLSS Rookie Lifeguard programme is a fun and exciting lifesaving awards scheme for children aged 8-12 years, teaching self-rescue, survival and lifesaving sport skills. (Booking is essential)
